The University of Bristol-developed project Jules uses software to imitate the human expression.
Jules's facial expressions are as real as the software can make them to be. Made in flexible rubber skin and embedded with 34 internal motors to control the expressions, Jules uses a video camera at 25 frames per second to pick expressions of the bystander, responding in 10 pre-stocked human emotions.
The engineers from the University of Bristol developed Jules for a project entitled “Human-Robot Interaction.”
